Denim Blanket

I love to recycle and repurpose things.

Using old jeans is one of my passions.

I enjoy  making blankets.  Very time consuming this one was.

50 8" blocks with 2 1/2" strips

thanks for looking!

I love it Heather. It is a great guy quilt, which are hard to come by. Did you use a serger?

Well done Heather. Lot of work! I walked past a thrift store on Friday afternoon with DH and saw blue denim jeans and skirts cheap and said to hubby about buying some for sewing, but they looked too good to cut up. I saw a bag last weekend that someone had made from denim and, it too, looked so effective.

Thank you everyone for the kind comments and no I don't have a serger. A simple brother xl3750 sewing machine is what I use. I also own an elna funstyler *older model*.
